I have noticed, Nicole. Why do you suppose people (males, too—let’s not be sexist) feel a need to devalue their opinions? What of those who brazenly state whatever the fuck they want?
i don’t know if you sing in the shower, if you crack your knuckles, if you have orange juice with breakfast, or if you even eat breakfast at all. i don’t know your annoying habits, your adorable idiosyncracies, what your ass looks like in a pair of jeans, or the scent of your after shave. i don’t know if you have freckles on your back, an innie or an outie, if you drink skim milk or whole, or how you like your steak cooked. i don’t know how you take your coffee, the flavor of your toothpaste, or how many pillows you like to sleep with.
but i know your heart like i know my own. and when i ask myself how i could possibly be so in love with you, it’s there that i find the answer.

For all of you who get riled up when I mention God and you want to know which God I’m talking about, I’m talking about the same one you’re talking about. I’m talking about the alpha and omega, the omniscient, the underpresent, the ultimate consciousness, the source, the force, the all of everything there is, the one and only G-o-d.
